LASIG-TWIN Kickoff Meeting at INFLPR, Bucharest, Romania
21. Jan 2016

On the 21st of January 2016 the kickoff meeting for the LASIG-TWIN project was held at INFLPR facilities in Magurele near Bucharest, Romania. Besides a presentation of all the partners capabilities and project input to a crowd of INFLPR researchers, staff and students the experts discussed the detailed planning of the project and the upcoming first year in particular. Workshops in Bucharest and Bayreuth about the history, status and future of laser ignition as well as about measurement techniques for laser ignition are upcoming in autumn of 2016, while also the teams of excellence will form and gather two times in 2016 to prepare groundbreaking innovation in the fields of laser ignition based combustion. Laboratory training was scheduled at the partners facilities and first steps towards the implementation of the Laser Ignition Conference 2017 in Romania were taken.
